FX Metallic Powders are 100% compatible with our FX Poxy Premium Clear and FX Poxy Premium Colored Epoxies, as well as all of our FX Prime Coat Colors. When coating or refinishing your countertop, bartop or table top, use FX Metallic Powders as accent colors on top of your base coat. This adds depth and helps to create a beautiful, natural 3D design. First mix FX Metallic Powders directly into your Premium Clear FX Poxy Epoxy top coat, giving it a translucent effect. Then mix FX Metallic Powders with 91% isopropyl alcohol and spray over the surface in random patterns, creating a granular effect similar to real stone and giving your countertop, bartop or table top an extreme 3D effect. There are 35 colors in all to choose from. You may also combine colors for even more possibilities. For more guidance see our Countertop Instructions Page.

Gorgeous powders. The most fantastic look is when you mix them with alcohol and spray them over epoxy colored with some base color i.e. light blue or translucent colors over black-base-colored epoxy. Looks cosmic! But probably any dark powder sprayed over light base would be just as awesome. Spray 2-4 colors in moderation over base-colored epoxy and leave it alone and let the magic happen (Spraying too much you might be taking away from it). Also I used the powders to color clear epoxy itself. Very little amount was needed, maybe 4-5 teaspoons per quart and I could create custom colors this way. Completely different and also gorgeous look can be achieved with interwoven base-colored epoxy and a powder-colored epoxy. Word of caution, I wasn't crazy about spraying them over clear epoxy, I would be super careful or stay away from doing that altogether (unless you really know what you're doing). Also, the only color I didn't like was pearl, unlike the other 12 colors I used with no problems, it kept clogging the spray head right from the start, I changed 4 different kinds of bottles and tried further diluting it and still had the same problem, so I figured the problem is with the powder not the bottles. I just never was able to use that particular color for spraying, so might just use it for mixing into epoxy and making veins, the color itself is nice!

Very unique colors

Colors are very unique and saturate epoxy better than powders sold elsewhere online. Ask questions if need be, their customer service is much better than most.
The best in its class

These metallic powders are absolutely great to work with. I've used charcoal, bronze, blue, brown, turquoise, copper and many others, and everything has turned out awesome.

I love the powders and they actually work well in alcohol and epoxy. The only reason I give this a 4 instead of 5 is because black glitter is terrible. I could. It figure out how to get it to show up. I used it in alcohol as recommended, i put it in epoxy (though not recommended but it wasn't working for me otherwise so I tried it anyways) and also I tried just putting some on the epoxy after I finished but before it was dry. It just looked like black specks. No glitter to it that I could see. I feel I wasted my money on the black glitter as it seems useless in any project. Everything else is incredible and amazingly beautiful when complete. I followed the directions exactly. It was still difficult to get out all the air bubbles.
Little goes a long way

When I received the Metallic Powders I did not think it was enough to complete the job. after mixing just a little with 2 part epoxy it became very cleat that not much was needed.
